Laila Crawford (founder and owner)
Qualifications: Early Childhood Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy
Laila has born and brought up in India, she came to UK 1987. Laila’s dedication and passion for children’s education led her to study Montessori Early Childhood at Montessori Centre International (MCI) in London in 1994, after completion she worked at various well established Montessori settings. Her wealth of experience along with her vibrant, caring character led Laila to a vision that she would one day have her own Montessori Nursery, a home away from home for the children in her care.
Amira El-Aghel
Manager, Designated Child Protection and Safeguarding Lead, SENCO Coordinaton
Qualification: BA (Hons) Early Childhood studies, Level 5 Foundation degree in Montessori Pedagogy.
Amira is originally from Libya and grew up in the UK. She is a graduate of MCI, having completed both the EYE Diploma and Foundation degree. Amira’s passion for education and dedication to children’s development is rooted in her diverse background and extensive training.
She earned her degree in French from the University of Tripoli, where her journey in education began as an EAL teacher, focusing on teaching English to children in Libya. After gaining experience in this role, Amira went on to work as a teaching assistant with various age groups, specializing in nursery education at the British School of Tripoli.
Amira's commitment to the Montessori philosophy led her to the UK in 2014, where she began working in an established Montessori school. She further expanded her experience by integrating the Montessori approach into a mainstream playgroup setting. Fluent in both English and Arabic, Amira brings a wealth of knowledge and a multicultural perspective to her role, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
Farhat
Staff , Designated Child Protection and Safeguarding Lead
Qualifications : Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
Farhat is originally from Pakistan, where she developed a deep passion for early childhood education. After completing her degree in Early Childhood Studies, she began her career working as a nursery teacher in Pakistan, where she gained valuable experience working with young children in a variety of settings.
Farhat's journey in early education took her to different environments, where she embraced various teaching methods to create an engaging and nurturing environment for children. Her passion for the Montessori philosophy led her to pursue specialized training, equipping her with skills to introduce child-centered learning in her practice.
Fluent in both English and Urdu, Farhat brings a multicultural perspective to her work, fostering inclusivity and a love for learning among her students.
